Default Engine questions

So I am doing a B18A1 swap into my 94 civic. My question is since the 94 is obd1 and the B18A1 is obd0 I believe could I use an intake manifold and distributor from a B18B that I have around to make it work, been searching on here and looking myself. Just wondering if it is possible as I have seen it on like 98's and such but wondering what needed to be done. Just looking for a hyrdo tranny next. Got my build setup and getting parts so just trying to figure out the obd setup.

You can do that. I assume you'd be using a B18B engine harness then so that it plugs into the intake manifold correctly? If so, you'll need a B18B distributor (I think you can use one), or you'll need a OBD0 to OBD1 distributor wiring conversion harness. There may be other things you need to do, such as O2 sensor wiring... i'm not really sure though if it is different. But using the B18B intake manifold solves most wiring problems, as most of the electrical connectors on the engine go to things on the intake manifold.
