im new to this forum, i have a 2001 honda civic lx with the d17a1 and its blown up!!! i also have a 2004 d17a2 engine(no car) i want to know if there is anything special i should know, i dont intend to utilize the vetc in the a2. but the a2 has an egr valve where the a1 doesn't. also the a2 is out an auto and the a1 is a standard (stick) i see right off the exhaust manifolds are differant and and can be swapped. and suggestions or tips that will help.
