is it possible to but a 99 odyssey engine (J35A1) into a 97 civic (D16Y7) and convert it to manual transmission? we're getting a new van soon and i want to keep the odyssey's engine to put in my civic if i can.

 

idk, it's a 3.5L V6 and might be too big. But if there's a will there's a way. It's got 210HP so that'd be pretty sweet.

you could use the tranny from a:
98-07 Honda Accord, Acura CL or TL with the 3.0L J30 engine
99-07 Acura TL or CL with the 3.2L J32 engine
98-07 Acura RL, or TL type S with the 3.5L J35 engine
