Default Timing Belt / Water Pump Change. Now very Noisy

So I bought my car to a shop today to change my Timing belt/water pump/belts/ and seals. Its a 99 Civic Hx. Before I had the timing belt change it ran perfect and the idle was very smooth. After the timing belt change it makes alot of noise at idle but while Iam driving it runs perfect. He told me it was because my AC clutch Bearing is loose and so was my old timing belt, thats why it didn't make any noise before.
Could a loose AC Clutch bearing be the cause?

What type of noise are you hearing? Do you mean the idle is now rough?

If you doubt that the A/C compressor is making noise, remove the A/C belt to see if the noise goes away.

im calling BS on your shop guy.... he just screwed up and probably didnt tighten up the timing belt enough and doesnt want to pull it all apart again to fix it! IMO....

if the timing belt is to loose then it could posibly slip a tooth and jack your timingall up...

...or even worse by causing major engine damage.

It's also possible to overtighten a timing belt. That makes a whirring noise which does sound a little like a bad bearing.
