engine trouble!!!!!!!

O.K. so I have a 1995 civic dx 1.5 non V-TECH 5 speed and my problem is when the engine warms up it starts rev up then down, up then down like it's the idle air control valve. So I put a new valve on still does it, I hooked a computer up to it and it says camshaft position sensor problem but no one offers a cps nor can I find one on the engine. Can anyone help me with this problem please?????

Do you mean the crank sensor in the distributor (=code 4)? If any of the three distributor sensors is bad, then you need to replace the whole distributor housing.

You should also try cleaning the FITV on the throttle body (see link in my signature).

No the scanner says it's the cam position sensor. I also forgot to mention that the engine occasionally misses when pulling but not all the time and it's random like sometimes in 1st gear or 4th gear when it's cold or warm. I don't know it's driving me crazy

What specific CEL code number is thrown?

Attachment 20680

cel codes are 9 and 14. 9 says cam position sensor and 14 says idle air control valve. I know it's not the iacv because I have a new one and i tried one off of one of friends car, and it still does it.

I apologize the book that has my codes in it for 95 civic 1.5 non v tec says 9 is cps but your codes say cylinder sensor. Where is this located and is it like a knock sensor?

All 3 of these sensors are in the bottom part of the distributor. They generally aren't sold separately, the cure for any of them is to replace the whole distributor.
