Default front camber kit HELP!

ok i bought these spc# 84955

http://www.autocarparts.com/part/932/2/

and when i installed them the control arm would not go up all the way, basically they were pushing the control arms too far out and wel it just doesnt fit anybody here ever used these?.... and they were a pain in the neck to even get in the control arm, it bent them outwards because they were wider than the original , so i had to put it back together.

its a 1989 civic HB and i dont now if the control arms might have been swapped at one point? im just guessing that because why would they not fit right? i need help man im leavin for school soon and need it done in 3 weeks
