Default Fuel filter line loosening

Looks like it's just welded there. Incoming line, not the bango bolt. I've been soaking it in WD40 for a year probably - no luck. Used brake line wrench and locking pliers - no difference. Don't want to use heat there, it's too dangerous. Any idea, please?

I know which one you're talking about, and even on my 99, it was an absolute bitch to get out. I just soaked it in PB BLaster over and over and over, and kept trying with a wrench. I think to pop it loose I actually wedged the wrench on there as best I could, and took a nice whack at it with a hammer.

I'm thinking about using sabre saw just to cut the damn thing, if I manage to fit it there...

That's an option too, you can always attach a new fitting to the line

I was actually thinking about cutting filter body, not fitting...

Well if you did that, wouldn't you just be left with a smaller, more unmanagable piece of fuel filter siezed to a line?

It's not like a cutting off a part of the filter, it's more like you cut a seized nut in halves...

My DIY would have helped but Remmy hasn't posted it, even though I sent it to him a month ago!!

Well, isn't this a kind of DIY too?
You just take a saber saw and cut it until you see the thread...
What did you have in yours?
