i had the sub wires running from the battery and i disconnected them and rigged the fuel pump and it made noise wich it never did before.

 

would it be a problem if i started a new thread because the title of this one isnt getting the attention i need it to. i should have made it Main Relay Problem or something becuase i know i dont need to replace the main relay becuase its just a wire thats bad

I think Josh has the situation in control, but we do need more information.

Is the CEL ON?

What makes you think it's a main relay/fuel pump problem? Does the engine crank when you turn the key to ON(III)? Does the fuel pump prime for 2 seconds when you turn the key to ON(II)?

Do you have spark at all the plugs? Is the spark bright white/bluish or weak orange?

You claim to have found a bad wire somewhere. Where is the wire? What color is it? Post some clear photographs.
