fuel sending unit

Default fuel sending unit

hi could anybody help me i have a honda civic 07 plate im needing to replace the fuel sending unit, ive tried all ways to find it would anybody be able to tell me where it is please i was told it was under the center console ive had that taken off and cant see it there. any help would be grateful thanks.

It is inside the gas tank of course. On older models, you'd remove the back seat bottom cushion, under there is an access plate to reach the top of the gas tank where you can remove the sending unit. I don't know if that is true of an '07 though.
