After running my 02 civic for a while, I notice the smell of gas when I get out. Not a really strong smell, but definitly there. Can't find any external leaks. This is primarily my wife's car and it's got me a bit concerned. Car has about 60K miles,4dr, auto/ w air. Can anyone tell me what might be going on? Thanks in advance for any help!!

 

that coffee can is a possibility.
so called that years ago - properly called evaperative emission canister.
if there is a filter to replace i would replace it - otherwise replace the unit.
