ok so i just bought a 98 honda civic lx and thought everything was great until the check engine light came on. the code that came up was a fuel trim malfunction. i went ahead and had the spark plugs and wires, the fuel pressure regulator and had a fuel injection service done. i used the 44k stuff as well. it is still there. car sounds like its running good and not having any trouble with it at all. it has been in a front end collision and they replaced the exhaust, oil pan, and three struts before i bought it. i can't seem to find the problem. any ideas?

 

oh and its a manual transmission

 

the other thing is when i start moving it will accelerate real slow and the just jump real high in first or second gear.
