ok, i have a 98 civic EX, full headers, exhaust, intake, wires, etc, it's in my sig, well i just bought it from a chevy dealership that got it on a trade in, ive ahd it about a month now, the malfunction light is on and has been on since i got it, what could be causing this, some of my friends said it may be b/c of my intake, but im not sure, its the orange light with check in the middle, so i guess it's the check engine light, would like some input please, thank you!!

 

get under the passenger side kick panel and find a 2 wire connector, then put a wire in to connect them, then turn the ignition (dont start it) on and count the blinks. it should blink something like X long blinks, and Y fast blinks. thats the code for the problem. XY= the number. like X=2 and Y=6 = code 26. post the code and we'll try to help.
