Default power door lock malfunction

My first post, I searched around, but couldn't find anything on this issue.

I have a 96 civic, and the other day a got in the car and pushed the power door lock down, to lock my doors, and the front passenger side door lock made a very strange noise. The lock went down, but it sounded like the motor in the door made a loud grinding sound. It only does it when I lock the door, and only to the front passenger side door. Do I need a new actuator? I am not sure how the power door locks work, and what piece could be causing that very loud noise. It makes me jump when I lock my doors, it is so loud and annoying. Any help or suggestions would be great.

Default RE: power door lock malfunction

Might just need some cleaning/lubing. Gonna have to take the door apart anyway, why not try cheap/easy first.
