Default Funny idle
My 2000 ex has a wierd idle revs up and when it first starts it boggs when you take off .any ideas

Maybe clogged injectors. Try running some cleaner thru the next tank. Lucas, Gumout, etc.

Tried that 3 tanks in a row.ive got skunk2 intake headers tru cold air msd distributor and external coil sometimes it runs like a beast then sometimes not

It's normal for a cold engine to rev up. It sounds more like a misfire than an idle problem. The ignition system is a likely culprit, especially the external coil. Probably best to get rid of it.

If you don't have TPS or MAP codes, or P0505, then I'd start with the ignition system.
