Default gauge Cluster help

Hey everyone, i have a 2004 civic lx, i got a stock gauge cluster for my car off of Ebay, after i installed it, the numbers for my odometer didnt match and my check engine light is now on. it is the right year for my cluster, the only difference was that the lights lit up a different color. How do i put the Odometer back to normal and get rid of the check engine light without removing the bulb???

You probably need to go to a dealer and have the odometer reset. Most newer cars store the odometer reading in more than one place (e.g. the cluster and the ECM) to discourage tampering, and if the readings don't jibe that may trigger the engine light to come on.

+1. Try unplugging your car battery to reset the CEL. If it still has a problem take it to an autozone to have the code read. Than you could bring that code back to HCF and someone should be able to help you out.
