Default Ghost Wipers

My wipers started randomly going off the other day. I haven't messed with any wiring.

It just happens to have started the day after I put my new seats in, but I'm sure that has nothing to do with anything.

They seem to go off over bumps. Sometimes they'll stop halfway up and sometimes they'll flail wildly.

Any suggestions? I'm assuming it's a loose wire but I have no idea where to look.

Yea, mine does the same thing, that swtich it probably broken...

Does the wiper switch still "click" into postions when you move it up and down? If not then you may have hit it by accident when you were installing your seats.

my heater was freaking out like that for a while. Check the relays and the grounds. Mine ended up mostly being the ground; it would get groudned when i went over bumps so my heat would turn on momentarily and hten shut off again lol

Hey, new here and I looked up some TSB's on my 98 civic EX where I work, and there is a post about a bad wiper motor for my model. I don't know if that is the problem inyour case, but you might want to look into it.
