Glowshift Gauge Parasitic Battery Drain
Hey Gang,
I've got a Glowshift vacuum gauge and tach hooked up in my 1994 Honda Civic DX Hatchback. They work great and look cool, but... They are drawing 75 milliamps while the car is off. The battery can handle that just fine, but I feel like this is too high of a drain for these gauges.
Both gauges share a ground, switched power source, and constant power source. They are grounded to the firewall. The switched power source is fuse #13 (Rear Window Defogger). The constant power source is fuse #6 (Power Door Locks). I also tried using fuse #3 (Ceiling Light) as a constant power source.
Am I doing something wrong?
