Default Guage Cluster Question

Has anyone done a cluster swap of putting the 7th Gen (03-05) cluster into a 6th gen (99-00)?

Kinda curious if it's possible I personally like the cluster more then my 6th.

i don't think they will work. Any of the 6th gen clusters are interchangable, but i'm pretty sure the 7th gens won't fit without some modifcation.

I've read that you need to do some rewiring, and I've also read of other people doing it on other forums, but i just can't find a DIY, and i'm wondering if anyone else has done it.
