Default h22a/92-95 civic hb-which is the lightest, and what is needed for the swap?

I’m saving up now, and have been researching on what I want for some time now. I want to put an h22a into a 92-95 civic hatchback. I was told the lightest was the VX, and then the CX. BUT, which one has NOTHING? No Sunroof, AC, PW, PL, PS, ABS, etc. I don’t want anything, just a shell, an engine, and a seat.

After that, if anyone has done this swap, please verify the information that I have. In order to do the swap I need an h22a, the transmission, ECU, OBD2 to OBD1 wiring jumper harness, the shift linkage from a 92-96 Prelude, 94 Integra GS-R axles, Motor Mount kit and 94 Integra GS-R wiring harness.

Thank you for your help.

only the SI model came w/ a sunroof. the cx model didn't come w/ all the power stuff so get that.

you will need to take off the pass side chassis bracket. you don't need a 94 integra gsr wiring harness. the swap that you are gonna buy will come w/ the wiring harness. use that. make sure you ask for an obd1 swap since the 92-95 civic hatch is obd1.

you don't need the obd2 to obd1 jump harness because your car is already obd1, and you are gonna run a obd1 ecu.

the axles that you are gonna use are the prelude axles that will come w/ your swap

with the wiring harness, isn't the 92-96 Prelude obd2, and wouldn't I run the Prelude ecu? That's why I thought I needed the jumper and the wiring harness. Thanks for the help by the way.

Even ifthe car came with the power steering, or A/c what does it matter? you're taking the engine out of the car and swapping it... so you would be removing the components to make those operational.. and even though it is stated that the CX doesn't have anything, my CX has powersteering(well barely)

ok thanks hari. and to fiirkan, i just don't want to deal with things I don't need like abs, ps, pw, etc. I know the cx comes with ps, but some don't. I don't want those things, it's not needed. But thanks though.
