Default H4-2 HID Problems

1999 Honda Civic EX. I bought an HID conversion kit off of ebay with H4-2 bulbs (yea, dumb realized now I should have gotten the H4-3 for the bi xenon), followed the directions for the install and everything seemed easy very plug and play. The normal halogen bulb which is ment for the high beam is now my low beam and the HID bulbs are the high beam. I am pretty sure there is an easy solution to this that I must have plugged something in wrong, but I am pretty lost at this point. Any help would be appreciated.

i cannt remember which is which. but just change the 2 colored wires on the plug. if it doesnt work move them around again
or buy a cheap 12Volt light tester and check them out and know which is which.

Thanks a lot for your help. I was able to fix the problem, i just had to switch the low and high beam wire in the Civics wiring harness. Low beam on top, high beam on the right I believe.

One last question, any way I should position/aim the lights to avoid blinding on coming traffic

typicaly you want to point them down a bit. tho best to adjust them at night... all depends if youve got stock suspension or lowered.... and i know now that im lower i need to adjust my headlights up alittle for better seeing at night. but just park your car on a level spot and walk ruffly 3-4car lengths away and judge your height from your head with you siting in the car and then bend down to about that height and try to adjust it so your not blinded. most of its just kinda guessing....

one thing which is a DEAD GIVE AWAY... if people flash ya from time to time... adjust them lower.LOL
