Default Is it hard to replace caliper? (I change my own oil.)

Hello,
I have a 1995 Civic Lx. A mechanic who inspected my car says my front-right caliper needs to be replaced. Is it hard to do? I change my car's engine oil myself to save on money.

You shouldn't have a problem if you know how to turn a wrench. Remove wheel, remove 2 bolts (14mm) on the back of the caliper and bolt the new one on. You will need to bleed the brake system. While you are in there, you could remove the 2 17mm bolts holding the bracket and regrease the slider pins.

This would be a good time to swap in new pads and rotors, depending on the condition of your current brakes.
