Head bolt hole threads stripped
In performing the 3,000-mile head bolt re torquing on my 1.5 Civic wagon, I found that I had stripped the threads of the bolt second from the cam sprocket on the backside of the engine. Is there a fixture made that allows one to align a drill bit for HeliCoiling or is there another, easier way to get a stud in permanently?
