Stripped trans drain bolt head

Stripped trans drain bolt head
I have a 1991 Civic with a 1.5l eng and 5-speed trans. The trans drain bolt is stuck, and the bolt head is rounded off, have even tried vise grips and a pipe wrench, so now it's basically round. Do I dare heat it with a torch to try to break it loose? Or does anyone have a easier fix?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestions guys. It does not have a 3/8 socket hole, just a standard head. The car came with a 4-speed and the 5-speed was put in later, so someone probably replaced the drain bolt along the way.
There is no room to hammer on a socket, as the suspension arm bracket is in the way. It seems the only way to get to it is a wrench. The bolt is steel in an aluminum case. Will it hurt the case to heat it with a torch to break it free? Or any other ideas?
