Would a header off a 93 civic dx fit on my 00 civic ex?
I believe the 93 is a d16z6 and mine's definitely a d16y8

 

92-00 EX headers are interchangable, but DX to EX is a different story....Looking HEREit shows 92-00 EX's being interchanable, but then a different model # for DX. I though all D series headers were interchangable but lining up tthe cat/midpipe would be questionable. THIS WEBSITE also has differnet model numbers for the DX and EX's, so idk if they would.

 

The 92-95 DX/LX's come with a D15B7. The 92-95 EX/Si comes with the D16Z6. If the header was off of the 92-95 EX/Si D16Z6, It would fit the D16Y8 without fitment issues. If the header is made for a 93 DX (D15B7), it willbolt rightonto the head, but like FlipHKD720 said, it might not line up with the catalytic converter.

Your civic can use without fitment issues, a header made to fit 92-00 EX models
