headlight removal 97 civic

Default headlight removal 97 civic

could someone please tell me what i need to remove first in order for me to take out my headlights. i took out the two screws on top. i think there are two more how do i get to them easiest. thanks

You might have to remove the grill also.

you can sometimes get away with leaving the bumper cover loose but its best to pull it off, screws in the wheel wells. plastic clips across the top in front of the radiator. there are two 10mm bolts underneath if its a stock bumper cover. the healights have 4 bolts two on top one in the back side fender area, and the front inside. with the bumper cover off it should be straight forward, i have done it so many time i could do it in my sleep.

I ordered some new headlights and put them in my car. I didnt have to take anything off. I just unhooked installed new and hooked em back up. easy as pie

94 civic does not equal the same as 97.

The headlights of a 94 and 97 are nothing alike.

once you get the bumper off you will see all the bolts to take off..very easy, i would take the bumper fully off..will make it alot easyer to work on, it will take you like 5 minits to take the front bumper off when you find all the screws..very easy
