TURN ON HEAD LIGHTS WHEN ENGINE RUNNING AND SOUNDS LIKE ENGINE STRAINS FOR A SECOND. LIKE RPMS DROP JUST ALITTLE AND JUST SEEMS LIKE A PULL ON IT.
ALTERNATOR NEW BATTERY USED (TEMP FOR NOW).

 

its called a load all cars do that !

 

Never felt this much. just seems mor obvious and this is my 5th honda and 31st car.

 

The ECU adjusts the idle speed based on electrical load from a signal sent by the alternator (alternator FR signal). This circuit may be faulty. Alternatively, your new alternator may be faulty.

 

well both of my civics do it. if it does it to bad and almost dies than when was the last time you had a tune up? spark plugs might be worn preaty good so when the extra strain is put on the motor it drops out more.

but as long as the engine doesnt die and theirs no whining from the alternator from a bad bearing i wouldnt worry to much.
