Thanks! Sorry for the mixup. I'm up to my *** in alligators until next week but will get on it and get back here. Never been so busy until I retired March 1 ... don't have time to do anything anymore. :-)

I know this is taking forever, sigh. I am now off to Radio Shack to get a meter. :-) [A couple of hours later]: I now have the meter and only need access to the car! :-)

I pulled the plastic protective panel from under the right side of the dash (guess I'm done with that permanently) and found the fan. I see the plug with white and blue wires. Thought I might be able to slide it partially out to access wires but it doesn't move easily and since I have a tendency to breakage decided against that without checking. The probes on the Radioshack Digital Multimeter have sharp points so I tried to stick them into the leads with the key on and **** turned full but didn't seem to connect so I wanted to double check. Also, how do I measure one without the other? Is there something available which is ground? Reading this I sound like a high school girl, sigh.

The shell of the cigarette lighter socket is a good ground. Hold the black probe on ground and probe the wires with the red one.
