helo with the AC fan

Default helo with the AC fan

i noticed today that my AC fan is alwalys on. When the igniton is on but the car is not running the fan is on. i checked with the AC of and AC on and it just stays on. the only way it turns of is if i pull the fuse or take the key out. is this normal? i dont rember noticing this before. what could it be? also when the car is running the fan is on then sometimes turns of for a coupole seconds n then turns back on??

That's normal. Only thing it's doing is blowing air, it's not cooling it though.

The A/C fan should only be running if the A/C is actually on. If the A/C fan is on all the time, that is a problem. It isn't good b/c it will take air away from the radiator and can cause problems if you engine is prone to overheating.

well i figured out that for some reason the ac will not turn of weather i hit the button to turn it on or of its on..... the only way i can turn it of is to pull the relay or fuse...wth could this be n does ne one have a solution to it???

That doesn't make any sense. If you pull the A/C relay or a fuse for the A/C, the A/C should not work since the compressor clutch is not recieving power which will not allow the compressor to turn. Unless you stuck a paper clip in the relay/fuse's place in which case fuse/relay might be bad. There is a way to test it.
