Default help with 2008 civic 1.8

Just bought 2008 civic with 1.8 ---idler bracket has the broken bolt in the block, guy I bought it from drilled it off center and drilled into the block, welding shop is taking out broken bolt tomorrow--they are not sure if they can do anything with drill hole--open for any suggestions, it is a 20000 mile motor and I would like to save it versus buying a junk yard one, fill hole with JB weld and put new bolt in??? put in aluminum threaded stud and have them weld around it??--I have very little invested in the car so I am willing to spend a few bucks trying??--thanks again for looking
