Default Help with 89 Hatchback

Ok. Got an 1989 Civic Hatchback with the 1.5L 16-Valve and a 4-speed manual. This is gonna be a biggie:
1.) Even as high as 33 degrees, the car won't start; theres not enough friggin room for a real battery... any suggestions? (im used to cars that fit regualr batterys and will start good even at 0)
2.) when the headlights are on, the heater doesn't blow as much (blow force reduced a lot) any ideas why? (used to cars where it seems the heater and lights are run off differant circuts)
3.) right turn signal will not operate when the headlights are on (but will work when the running lights, or whatever you wanna call em, the amber front lights, are on), any ideas? (no, haven't replaced the blinker, but, than again, is a gay square blinker, not the circular ones im used to)
4.) i need a fuse chart thing for this... the Haynes manual is useless, and the fuse panel cover is no where to be found (fuse 1 is _____, fuse 2 is _____...) (again, used to cars where the use of the fuse is actually put on the fuse panel board)
5.) the engine will heat up (needle inbetween C and H) but the heater will not blow warm air (a/c is not on), thermostat has been replaced (the one we took out was stuck open, we thought we found the problem, but, nope) any suggestions?

note: the key-start cylinder was taken out by the previous owner, because they lost their keys, and replaced with a flip-switch push-button setup thing; however, I can't seem to convince myself that would have much of an effect on the problems listed above

all i want is a car that: 1.) will actually start where i live... i mean, having a car that will start at 33degrees shouldn't be hard 2.) wont be asking cops to pull me over because a light doesn't work, and 3.) (not as important) will at least heat up a little.
thanks
james

Sounds like you have some major electrical problems. What do you mean by "real battery"? Are you saying that your car is not running off of a car battery? There's always room for the car battery in the trunk.

What I mean by "real battery" is just that.. an actual full-sized battery. (The problem is, the dang air filter hose is in the way...) Sure, this thing is a small car, but when I cant crank the engine over above freezing, give me a break. just happy i didnt pay for this thing.
Real battery:

if you get a new battery that is the same as the one you have, with the highest CCAs you can find, it should start fine. thats a small motor and it doesnt have extra-ordinarily high compression, so it really doesnt take that much amperage to crank. as for the heater, get the cooling system flushed at a jiffy-lube or something. it sounds like you have a blockage in the system somewhere, and on a higher mileage car, it should be done anyway.

as for the lights, what do you mean it doesnt operate? it doesnt light, or it lights but doesnt flash?

Well, I think the change in fan pressure when the headlights are on could be due to a weak alternator (4G's aren't known for their extraordinarily potent electrical systems...)

OK. Regardless of what setting the heater fan is set at, the headlights on the passenger side are dim... if i read the wiring diagram correctly for this, the heater fan switch is wired into the same thing as the right low and high beam. if its any more help, when the heater is on high (and the headlights are NOT on), the rear right turn signal is VERY dim (no flash, but i think the flasher is broken), as is BOTH front headlights, and the passanger front turn signal (by the headlight)
this seems to be a very weird problem... any help? also.. what fuse does what would be oh so very helpful.
thanks.
