Hey what's up Forum, I got a 7th Gen 03 Honda Civ LX and i'm finally tired of the governor kickin in at 115-120mph!!! My car has some exterior work done and I guess that makes people just always wanna try me when they pull up to me. I didn't do anything extent under the hood except install a aftermarket K&N airfilter so my engine is pretty stock. I'd like to know where the governor is at and if the car even has one. I also want to know technically how to take it off until I can save enough dough to cop me a turbo kit n what not....please help

it's electronically limited in the ECU, your tires probably aren't rated for speeds that high, and driving that fast on the street is not a good idea anyway.

 

take it to the track man, dont give us tuners a bad rep...




ps i just noticed you are from charlotte, there were like 17 kids that got arrested there the other week for street racing, cars confiscated.

 

Well if you get it removed then have fun when you car blows up or you die from going that fast on a puclic road
