Default HELP my motor is sputtering

I have a 1991 civic si hatchback and i over reved it a few nights ago and now the engine is sputtering at low rpm's and the check engine light is on. I used a can of seafoam in one of the vacume lines and it seemed to help alot but then went right back downhill. What do i do?

you pull the carpet up on the passenger side under the dash and count the blinks on the ecu, each fast flash is 1 and each delayed blink is 10 , there may be more than 1 code. then tell us what code(s) you have.

look at your ecu it already blinks the code, you are obd0
you only use the jumper wire on obd1 and (obd2. 92 and up)

For the ECU to flasht he code, just put the car to acc. power < on, but not running>.
The ecu sits under the passangers feet, under the carpet. The carpet will just pull back.
Start reading how many times the light flashes. Then either google the number, or go ahead and ask us on here. It will tell you what is wrong.

7 - Throttle angle sensor or circuit.
9 - Crank angle sensor or circuit
