i tried hooking up an aftermarket tach, started working then i put everything back together(instrument panel) something sparked and now my whole gauge cluster is dead, tach doesnt work, speedo doesnt work, gas guage sits above empty, and temp guage doesnt work, (98 civic ex)

is it a fuse? if so which one? or did i kill my dash

 

how'd you hook it up? to what wires and what power sources??

 

the way i had it hooked up... took it off cause i didnt wanna blow another fuse(i know i did something wrong so why keep doing it??? lol) hooked black(ground) to a screw above the pedals behind the cluster. hooked green(sensor) to blue wire in dash, and power.... to the yellow and some other wire on the bottom plug where there are four wires goin in.. so ya.

on the back of the cluster there are screws with "+" and "-" are those grounds and power sources?
