Help Please
Ok so i was driving my car and everything last night and everything was fine i parked it. Then today I went out to go start it (about an hour ago) it is cranking over but not starting. When I turn the key to the on position the battery light stays on and all the rest of the lights go off like they should. I used a charger on my battery just to double check and its not the battery. And I figured if it was the alternator my car would have did something last night while I was driving but it didnt. So i figured I was out of gas because I was on E when I got home last night so I went to the gas station and got 5 gallons came back home and put it in the tank and still no luck. So I tried starter fluid but it is not trying to ignite the starter fluid so I figured it was not getting spark does anyone else have any suggestions on what this could be? oh and it is a 93 civic EX 1.6

1) Check for spark at the plugs
2) Listen for whether the fuel pump primes (buzzes) for 2 seconds when the key is turned to ON(II).
If you only lack spark, check whether the timing belt snapped. If not, test the coil and have the ICM tested.

No I am not getting spark at the plugs
The fuel pump is priming
Timing Belt is fine. I am going with the two you mentioned I got all my testing equipment stolen so it is hard for me to do this things lol but I am going to take the ICM to autozone in the moring and have it tested and I am not sure if they can test the coil but I will let you know tomorrow what they have to say.

How do you know the "timing belt is fine"? If you take the oil cap off and crank, do you see rocker arms moving? Testing the coil with an ohmmeter is inconclusive (a lot of bad coils test good). It's best to take the cap off and try to jump sparks from the coil to a grounded test wire. Long blue sparks = OK (check rotor and cap for cracks). Small yellow sparks = replace coil. No sparks at all = could still be coil, but likely something else. In that case check that the distributor gets power on the black and yellow wire in the 2 pin plug while cranking. Put the ECU test jumper in and see if there are any codes.
