Default help with pulling my b18c5 block...not tranny

ok, i have got my engine completely apart. I am going to send my block to a machine shop for repairs and sleeves. i unbolted the tranny and thought it would just pop out. Ain't happenen that way. do i have to remove the axles? and does the clutch stay on the fly-wheel. starer is off, head is off, etc. haynes manual not specific enough for my dumb *** to understand. i figure you guys would be a help so thanks in advance!

take the axles out, and yeah,the clutch will stay on the flywheel.
