Help! She won't start.
Hey everyone, i'm new , well not really . I'm always reading have never written on here, but I do wanna say thanks to all the helpful member on this forum, you guys are lifesavers. Here's my situation, got a 92 eg 1.5 stock, car has been sitting for about 2 hrs on and off. I noticed that my #4 plug threads were drenched in oil so I chaned plugs cause I gettem cheap. So far got alittle oil on these but nothing out of the ordinary. Then I put in new pcv, running great . Then I got a new cap and rotor , painted cap to match valve cover, I did cover ALL contacts on the cap. I had to gently break off old rotor and sprayed just a small amount of WD on the end of the piece where the rotor goes. I cleaned it after I got the rotor off. Finally I put cap back on and car started after only half a turn sounded strong as ever all the sudden after 1 minute of running , while turning the car around it just died and the battery light came on. I checked cap and plugs all In order , engine turns strong but won't start . I know it's got to do with the distributor but I'm running out of time it's hangin off my drive way and it's gonna rain . Any ideas? Thanks for reading.
