Help w/ Universal O2 Sensor for 98 HX, MT
Has anyone ever installed a pre-cat universal O2 sensor on a 96-00 Civic HX, MT? The reason I ask is because the original O2 sensor has 5 wires. I don't want to have to get an OEM O2 sensor because they cost over $300. All the universal O2 sensors I've seen only have 4 wires, such as the Bosch universal O2 sensor. Is it possible to splice 4 wires into the 5 wire harness?
