Ok... when its pretty cold outside if i leave the driver's side door open for more than 3 seconds the seat belt light will begin to flash. When I close the door the "door light" does go out but the seatbelt light continues to flash????? The only way to make it stop is a re-start. I'm stumped.. any suggestions?

Does buckling your seatbelt stop the light from flashing? If not, the problem probably lies with the seat belt switch itself (see pictures) or the integrated control unit.

The pictures show how to access and troubleshoot the integrated control unit circuit. Note that the test results may help to identify the faulty component.

If you are on a slow internet connection, the pictures may take some time to load.
