when I got a green light afer waiting on a red on,My 1999 civic sputtered and was hesitant,it happened twice in about a 5 mile radius.Any way I went to start it after 2hours and it wouldnt start. I changed the fuel pump but that's not it.I was told a bunch of things....Relay,fuses,filter....Problem there is I dont know where those things are...Im not too mechanicly inclined.But Im wondering why it dosent start...and why the sputter

 

sounds like a fuel filter or your not getting enough fuel. could be a few things fuel filter is near the battery its black and has a hose going to it its attached to the firewall(back of motor)
