So, I was on my way to work today driving on the highway, when out of nowhere my 93 civic lx (manual) starts to hesitate on me. I got on the shoulder and about 30 seconds later it dies. I try to restart it but no suck luck. Now, here is what I know about the car. I was in need of an oil change and i do burn oil (not much, but enough that it matters). Also, my check engine light goes on whenever i take the car long distances and am going over 75 for like over 15 minutes. I plan on changing the oxygen sensor very soon. But yea, so anyways I am trying to figure out what could be the problem. As far as i remember, all gauges were fine before this happened, and I had gas...only problem was that i was due for an oil change. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

 

first you need to pull the spark plugs and bump engine over are you getting spark to all? then when you turn key on do you hear the fuel pump hummm?
