I know this is a stupid question especially for a first post but I was curious. Inbetween the temp and fuel gauges on my '95 civic ex coupe there is a line with the gears labeled for the transmission. (P, RND4, etc) While in a gear, it doesn't light up. I've had the car for awhile now and I just wasn't sure whether theres supposed to be a highlight over which gear I'm in, because that would at least explain why its there.

Welcome to HCF

Yeah those are supposed to be light up around the gear you are in. So all of them dont work? Because if it was just one, i would say it was a bulb. But if all of them are out, i would say its something else, though all your bulbs might be bad, but thats not likely. Take the cluster out and check out the back. Mess around with some wiring, i might have some spare bulbs for that laying around if you need them.
