Default Hi - Condenser road damage issue.

Hi everyone - this site looks to have a lot of answers ....

But I'm yet to find one to help me with this. 06 Civic - 78 days off the lot - with a punctured condenser, apparently as a result of road damge. Or fine debris damage, depending on to whom you talk.

Apparently this is a common problem - I'm quoting directly from the dealership - anyone with a similar tale of woe and $650 to relate?

Ouch. I'd say buy one yourself if you can't get Honda to replace it for free. They're about $100 and not too hard to do if you know a little about doing work yourself. It's easier than it looks. Once you replace it, buy a mesh kit and slap that in front of the grill to protect your goodies.
