Default HID issues 93 civic DX

installed single beam HID (no hi-beams) and if I hit my hi-beam switch, the lights turn off and are a pain to get back on, and sometimes when using my turn signal, I sometimes flick the hi-beams on, so the issue is quite plain, if I were to take out my hi-beam relay, would this prevent me from accidentally killing my lights?

There is no high beam relay. It would probably work to connect the high and low terminals from the old bulb plugs together and to the ballast. Then the HIDs get power regardless of the setting of the high/low switch.
