BMW HID into civic!

Default BMW HID into civic!

Have anyone done this before? I have try to wired the ballblast into the low beam of the civic and it doesn't work, it blink like a stroke light.....Any idea?? Anyone who no how to wired please help me out. Thanks

Im not too knowledgable on that kind of thing but I can gaurentee you that that stuff is tricky.

that is correct it is not getting enough power to the light to keep it on consataly. Whe it gets enought juice to turn on it can only stay on for a few seconds. this is why you are getting the "strobe light" effect.

why cant you just go on ebay and get the exact look for like $15? Those are HID bulbs right.

now way dude. HID kits and HID look alike bulbs are not the same at all...........true HID lights dont even have a filiment in the bulb,

HIDs use more volts to turn on somthing like 20k, but when running use less power and emit less heat. while being a ton brighter.

This would be my guess.......I think the OEM power relay cannot handle the extra current needed, therefore it shuts down, then restarts again and once again realizes the current draw is too high for it and continues the cycle over and over again.

To test this theory, you could wire the ballasts directly to the battery and see if they still go on and off like a strobe light.

iv heard about people talking about this before, iv heard it can be done but the wiring process is very diffecult, you have to go buy a bunch of different things to go inbetween the connections and all this stuff, and does it even fit and click into the headlights?
and were did you get hid's off a bmw from?
