Default HID question.. i looked and couldnt find anything

so i know this is a common problem, i have an HID conversion, low beams work but when i hit the switch for the high beams to come on and the lights go out but the yellow side lights on the headlight stay on, as well as my side marker

Most likely, you needed Bi-xenon HIDs (both hi and low beams), however a Xenon (single) kit was installed. No high beams now.

ya if you have the cheap @ss standard hids, they have the HID low beam, and then they have a REALLY REALLY WEAK @SS halogen light for the HIGH beams!
and those high beams suck alot worse than the stock bulb does! if you wanna use your high beams then upgrade to the bixenon hids, most of them use a electro magnet that is powered with the high beams that moves the hid bulb slightly to give the high beam pattern, works pretty good on the ones i had.
