hids problem...please help

Default hids problem...please help

I put on hids in a 2008 civic 4 door Si in the high beam but for some reason when its on the day time running light it blinks and does not turn on and does not stop blinking nether....and its not the hid missed up because I try them and they work...can any one help me out....or show me how to install them??? I really need the help...

daytime running lights run on lower power than regular low beams, and it's not enough for the HID to work. Remove your daytime running light fuse and drive without DRL's. Just remember to turn your low beams on during the day, if the DRL's are a legal issue where you live.

so do i tap into the headlight to connect the hids???

If they use a resistor for DRL, you may be able to bypass the resistor so the HIDs automatically come on full power in the daytime. Unlike halogens you can't dim HIDs down, they are either on or off.
