honda civic, is a DX, EX????

ok, i looked, but not sure what you want me to look for, is it a number like this:
xxx-xx-x ?

You can also enter your VIN at Majestic Honda and it will tell you what trim you have.

i looked at the block, but not sure what i'm suppose to look for, is it a number like this:

thanks RonJ! I went to Majestic Honda and it's a DX-V.

I hate it when I go to autozone and tell them it's a DX, and when I'm ready to change the part, it's not the right one and i have to go back and get it exchanged. It must be something on their end.

I would go with the VIN number, if you said EJ6, its a DX.

Use the diagram to verify that the engine and transmission have not been swapped.

Thanks Ron. The problem was not with me finding the VIN. I was just making sure I had a DX. I have gone to autozone for parts and about 3/4 of the time, the are the wrong parts. I have to go with the old one and show them which one I need. Thanks, I will be changing the water pump and timing belt this weekend.
