Default Honda Power Steering Fluid

Does anyone know the deal about honda power steering fluid. there is fluid on the market that says "not for honda". The approved honda fluid will actually state on the container that it is OK or approved for honda.
Does anyone have an experience using a non-Honda approved fluid? Did anything happen (i guess a leak would be the only errant result)?

STP does not state that it cannot be used for Honda. i emailed them and asked if it was compatible (or OK - can't remember the exact words) to use in a honda. their response was that there is no problem. Any thoughts.

Use the honda stuff. I beleive theres a difference in the additives and.or lubricants. Lubeguard actualy makes an additive you can buy to convert regular power steering fluid to be compatible with honda/acura.
