How do i get rid of my Vtec Controller and go back to stock ECU settings?

Default How do i get rid of my Vtec Controller and go back to stock ECU settings?

I wana get rid of my vtec controller that the previous owner installed cause its a stock motor and i want stock motor settings. What i was wondering was if i disconect the controller will the cars computer (ecu) go right back to normal settings, or would i have to retune the ecu? Please help me, i dont wan this on here anymore! Basicly, how do i get rid of my ECU and go back to hondas settings?

Stock ECU's are not "tuneable." If you rewire the car to stock it should work like stock.

So The ECU was just altered by the controller and it still as the stock settings on it?

The way I understand it, those controllers take control of the VTEC solenoid directly. The ECU is disconnected from it.
