How to install auto shift knob?
hello all,
hello everyone,
i can get the **** off, (see pic below) but i don't know how to install the new **** i bought (2nd image below).

The RA60 comes with:
- 25mm screw
- 45mm screw
1 inner for M8 and M10
1 spacer
the instructions don't help, and i just want to know how/if i can do this?
i just can't seem to figure out how (if) this **** can be installed... my stock one has two screws in the side of it, but this razo doesn't cover the shifter down enough for me to screw in anything...how does this install?
thanks in advance!
p.s: i have 99 civic lx automatic
- with P N D4 D3 2 as my shift setup, (no d s or l like from the pic

sorry to burst your bubble..... but I think that **** is for manual shifters.
Is it able to slide over the lever rod? If it does you could just glue it onto it. Sort a jerry rig it. When I put in my E-brake I had to lubethe lever rod upwith vasoline and hammer it down onto it, using a ply of wood in between the **** and the rubber mallet as to not hurt it.

i think the rod in the center is pushed down to allow the lever to be moved, so if you could push the rod down enough to screw into the outer lever i would think you would be set, but im a m/t guy so i dont know that much, if that doesnt work, i suppose you could cut the tip off the rod, so that it allows u to push it down enough to screw in, but the whole problem with that is you would be fuxored if it didnt work.
there's got to be pieces or an alternative to duck taping or gluing...
like 2 pieces, one like this
that I would slide down and screw into the two screws,
then another that twists or connect to the top of this piece, and then somehow into my shift ****...
anyone?
PS: cpl, the **** itself does not have any holes for me to screw into... i would have to drill it...

"Works with gate type shifters only."
and it says on the projdm site:
"Designed to work only on automatic transmission vehicles with threaded shift levers."
